Finding Health Plans in Your Area

Group of people in a health plan.At Georgia Families, we want to help you join the health plan that’s right for you.  We understand that each of your family members may have different needs.

Each of the four health plans are available state wide, so every member of your family will have a choice of health plans.  In addition, we’ve created a chart that you can use to compare the extra services offered by each plan.

If you have problems joining a health plan, you can call us for help!  Our Enrollment Counselors are eagerly awaiting your call.

Your enrollment packet will provide you with great information about all four health plans so that you can make the right decisions for you and your family.

Be sure to check out the health plan comparison charts to understand the different health plan extras each plan offers!

If you have any questions, call our call center. You also can find answers on our Facebook page and Twitter feed.

Did this help you to understand your choice of health plans? Let us know! Send us an email at blog@georgia-families.com. Please know that email is not private. Messages you send can be copied or read by others. If you send us an email, this tells us that you know and accept the risks. You may email us, but please consider calling, faxing, or sending us a letter if you want to send personal health information (PHI). PHI includes a Medicaid ID number, Social Security number and a member’s medical information.

Please contact us as soon as possible. We would love to help you choose the health plan that is perfect for you and your family.

Our Enrollment Counselors can be reached at 1-888-GA-Enroll (1-888-423-6765), Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., (TDD: 1-877-889-4424). (Please listen to all of the prompts before making a number selection. Select option #1 for Georgia Families, then option #1 for “Check Enrollment Status”. Then enter option #2 for “Using your Medicaid ID number”. When prompted for a Member ID, enter nothing. You will be prompted a second time to enter a Member ID number. Enter nothing again. You will then be transferred directly to an Enrollment Counselor.)

      Thanks!

My daughter is 14 years of age and does need contacts that I am having a hard time providing. The health plan states free contacts lenses for (members 21 and older, if medically neccessary). Does this exclude my daughter?
