Health Plan Extras

Father and son at a computer.Did you know that some of our health plans offer extras? All health plans provide Medicaid benefits, but some of them also offer extra health care services or programs.

Some of those extras can be a great bonus for you and your family.

Do you need glasses? Some plans offer free eye exams and help to cover the cost of glasses.

Do you have diabetes or asthma? Some health plans have programs that will help you manage these conditions.

While Medicaid covers routine dental care for children to age 21, it doesn’t cover adults. Some health plans do offer dental care for adults.

How do you find out about these extras? Right here on the Georgia Families website! Check out the health plan comparison charts and see what some of the great benefits are.

Members always ask, “Which health plan is the BEST?”  The best health plan is the one that best meets the needs of you and your family.

If you have any questions, call our call center. You can also find answers on our Facebook page and Twitter feed.

I am interested in finding out more in order to take advantage of the extra services. I am enrolled in Peach State Health Plan and I am pregnant. I am curious how to take advantage of the Start Smart for Your Baby program.
